ICP at a glance, for schools
A one-page summary for counselors and administrators deciding whether to share ICP with students.
The free platform
- ICP’s college research, planning tools and guides are free to use, with no account.
- Students are not asked for names, email addresses, school identifiers or dates of birth.
- Planning records such as college lists, GPA entries and budgets stay in the student’s own browser unless the student exports and shares them.
- As with any website, ICP’s hosting provider receives ordinary request information such as IP addresses and requested pages. The Privacy page explains this.
- There is no school monitoring portal, roster or student-progress reporting.
Private advising, kept separate
- Innovative College Prep separately offers optional paid college advising to families.
- Families who choose to ask about it email ICP or book a consultation through a separate scheduling service, under a separate privacy note. That contact is never connected to a student’s ICP plan.
- The site’s main navigation and homepage link to the advising page. Advising is not promoted inside ICP’s planning tools, student printouts or exports.
- ICP does not ask schools or counselors to refer families to advising.
