How to read these numbers
Admission rates describe a historical applicant pool, not your personal chance of admission. Test percentiles describe enrolled students who submitted scores; they are not score requirements or averages. Reported GPA methods vary and may be weighted or unspecified. Early Decision and Early Action pools differ; their rates do not prove an advantage from choosing a plan.
Average cost after grants is the federal average net price: the average attendance cost minus federal, state/local and college grants and scholarships, for first-time, full-time students receiving federal financial aid (at public colleges, in-state students only). Loans and work-study are not subtracted. It is a historical average, not your price or an aid offer.
The 2026–27 published cost of attendance is the college’s own budget before aid, for the situation shown. Each card shows the year of every figure. This curated roster is not a ranking or a complete list of U.S. colleges.
